Our Foley Problem

Two weeks ago I collected and downloaded all of our foley sounds we needed for Pursuit, our crime-thriller opening. We have all of the sound effects saved to my portal device however the computers will not allow us to upload them to the blog, we have tried several times on numerous pc's, but the sounds do work on final cut so we know we will be able to use them in the editing of our thriller. We will continue to try and rectify this problem.

Scene Walk Through/Script

For our film opening we only have one line spoken in our two minute thriller opening, so we felt their was not need to write a script however we have created a  scene walking via our story board earlier on the blog.

This is a replica of the shot in which the line ''five minutes'' is spoken by Ria  to the Agent.

Weather Check For Shooting

I looked on the Met Office website for our weather check as they are a government website I believed they would be the most reliable to tell us the weather for the days in London we were going to shot. However due to the cameras having faults and needing to be sent off to be fixed and cleaned, we have had to push our shooting back till after Christmas so we will do another weather check closer to the time.

   Film distributor is a company responsible for the marketing of a film. The distributor may set the release date of a film and the method by which a film is to be made available for viewing for the public theatrically and or for home viewing such as DVDs,downloads, TV channels.

This is evidence of me making our distributor logo. 

 This is our final logo created by India, we have called the company Enigma to further correspond to our thriller film brief we were given.   

Permissions

To fim our film we needed to get permission from the council that way they are aware of use shooting and there will be no problems caused.

Below is the email I sent to the Westminster council of which we will be filming our film.

Here is another email I sent which was to TFL transport and this is because we may have footage that will include Charing cross station and Waterloo station

Shot List

This is our shot list for our thriller opening and we have created this to help us when we shoot our thriller opening. This can also act as a check list just in case we may have forgotten to record a shot. To create an A grade thriller opening we need to make sure that we incorporate a variety of shots in order to create a quality thriller opening.

Production Schedule

Day One: 12th January 2013

This is our production schedule for day one and this includes all the relevant times that will be shooting certain shots and the location they will be taking place in. The majority of the shots will be shot in Westminster Bridge (refer to Recce's).  It will help us keep organised in regards to the shots that need to be shot, equipment checks, make-up check etc.

This is our call sheet which includes the details of all the crew member and actors/actresses. We have also put information about the locations that our filming process will take place. There is a map to illustrate where we will film and we also have information on the equipment that we will require on our shooting days which our mentioned on the call sheets.

This is India editing and doing the final editing for our VoxPop. 

Our Music

After doing some research, I have found 3 possible backing tracks for our title sequence. Two are from the same creator who say that it is okay to use the music as long her their name is credited in the titles. The final backing track has contact details of the individual but does not say we can use their music. We will contact them once we have made our final decision. 

This is the one which hasn't said if we can use it or not.

Our Timeline

This is our timeline and we created this as a draft for our shot list. We thought this will help us when creating our thriller opening. By having a timeline it will illustrate all the vital titles that we will include, the relevant cast and crew. It shows when everything comes in and the duration of each.
